New Way Worship
June 9-22, 2019
Applications are now being accepted for New Way Worship–a two-week Camp and Tour for High School students hosted by the Worship Department of Nebraska Christian College. NWW is open to students entering ninth grade through graduating seniors. Registration is $399 for individuals, and $299 for groups of five or more registering from the same church or youth group.
Split into two sections, NWW’s goal is to train and encourage students in their understanding and expression of worship in order to better serve their local churches!
“Boot Camp Week” is an exciting week of hands-on training, worship experience, and team building. All students are placed in worship bands - coached by NWW staff - that rehearse throughout the week. Each night NWW is led by one of the worship bands. Students also get the opportunity to grow in their specific areas of interest in instrumental lessons, breakout sessions, and worship leading workshops.
“Tour Week” is when we take everything we’ve learned during BOOT CAMP and put it together and take it on the road! Starting on Monday of the 2ndweek, the entire group is combined to present our full NWW Night of Worship program. We sing in churches, schools, and community centers in towns across the Midwest. Our tour concludes with a final concert on the campus of Nebraska Christian College.
Beyond the music, we dig into the biblical foundations of worship and what it means to live out our worship each day. Devotions, small group conversations, and lifelong relationships solidify this focus even above the concert. While we value the exceptional performance level and musical skill the students share, their greatest take-away is always a spiritual one.
Our hope is that every NWW student returns home with more purpose and preparation to lead worship in their communities with passion!
