David Huskey
Chief Student Officer

David is a graduate of Central Christian College of the Bible and received his master’s degree from Lincoln Christian Seminary. He is currently working on a doctoral degree in the area of spiritual formation at LCS. His previous ministry experiences were in Palmyra, IL and Cedar Rapids, IA. David also serves on the Board of Directors for the Christianville mission in Gressier, Haiti, is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and considers himself an aspiring chef.

Leslie Kaelin
Dean of Women

I attended Nebraska Christian College in the fall of 2002 participating in activities such as volleyball and student government. After four years my college career ended when I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Life Ministry. I continued to gain work experience in the areas of children’s, youth, and adult ministries at Calvary Christian Church (Bellevue, Nebraska) and decided to pursue my education at the next level. I moved to Illinois and began working at Hope Church (Springfield, Illinois) while attending Lincoln Christian Seminary (Lincoln, Illinois). In 2009 I obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling degree and have since worked over seas in Ghana, Africa, and with foster children and families in Omaha and surrounding areas.

Rowlie & Suzette Hutton
Head Residents

Rowlie and Suzette are excited to be part of the NCC team as they minister to students and lead the Residential Life team. They have recently reached “half-time” of their lives now that their own children are grown and out of the house.  Together, Rowlie and Suzette have thirty years of ministry experience. Rowlie also serves as the Lead Minister at Kingsway Christian Church.
