New Orientation Format and Schedule Announced
Nebraska Christian College has released its all-new Fall Orientation Schedule. In an effort to build community and communicate important changes and updates to all students, this year’s orientation format is for all NCC students. The dorms will open and all students will move in beginning at noon on Sunday, August 21. There will be a special orientations session for all new students and parents at 5:00 pm. At 6:30 pm our friends at Kingsway Christian Church will be providing a barbeque picnic for the entire NCC community. The evening will conclude with a bon-fire and worship time on campus.
Monday and Tuesday are dedicated to orientation, assessment, and completing the registration process. Please see the schedule below for details. Monday night will feature our first ever NCC Night at the Omaha Storm Chasers baseball game. Make plans to arrive early so we can cheer on President Milliken as he throws out the first pitch! Tuesday night will mark an historic occasion as we celebrate our first ever Convocation service in the new Sapp Brothers Memorial Ministry Equipping Center at 7:00 pm.
Students are required to attend their specific information sessions. Students are expected to finish all registration requirements within their specified time-frame. For most students this will only involve student id’s, key cards, financial aid, and final billing. In an effort to reduce wait times, students are encouraged to complete all financial aid prior to your arrival on campus. Students are encouraged, but not required to attend any social activities.

- Sunday, August 21
- Noon – Dorm move-in
- 5:00 pm – information session for all new students and parents (MEC)
- 6:30 pm – all school barbeque picnic (provided by Kingsway Christian Church)
- 8:00 pm – Bonfire & worship time
- Monday, August 22
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – New students complete the registration process
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Information session for all returning students (MEC)
- 6:30 pm – NCC Night at Omaha Storm Chasers game
- Tuesday, August 23
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – Returning students complete the registration process
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – New student assessment (Lecture hall & computer lab)
- 7:00 pm – Convocation (MEC)
- Wednesday, August 24
- 8:00 am – Classes begin
