ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DEGREE
CHRISTIAN MINISTRY
The Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Christian Ministry is designed to prepare students to effectively serve within the local church at the non-professional level. The degree consists of components in Biblical studies, General studies, and Ministry studies. This degree provides students with a foundation for Christian life and service.

Bible Evidences 2 hrs.
Bible Survey: O.T. & N.T. 6 hrs.
Life of Christ 1 & 2 6 hrs.
Basic Systematic Theology 3 hrs.
Basic Exegetical Theology 3 hrs.
General Studies 15 hours
English Composition 3 hrs.
Introduction to Literature 3 hrs.
Intro. To Psychology 3 hrs.
History of the Restoration Movement
or Church History 3 hrs.
Speech 3 hrs.
Ministry Studies 20 hours
Intro. To Christian Life 2 hrs.
Personal Evangelism 2 hrs.
Ministry Studies (Core Courses) *** 7 hrs.
Ministry Studies Electives 9 hrs.
Open Electives 4 hours
*** The 7 hours of required Ministry Core will be chosen from a combination of the following courses: Introduction to Christian Education (2 hours), Introduction to Missions (2 hours), Homiletics (3 hours), Educational Psychology ( 3 hours), or Introduction to Counseling (3 hours).
