Dorm Information

Special Student Program
A special student is defined as a person who has not declared a program (major) of study and who is not enrolled for more than four hours of credit in any semester. Such persons taking courses for personal enrichment, but not pursuing a degree, will not be charged the application fee, nor will transcripts, recommendations and health form be required. Should the student later elect to follow a regular program, all waivers will be lifted and the student must follow the regular admission procedures. The College reserves the right to refuse enrollment to, or suspend a special student at any time.

Catalog Limitations
This catalog is in effect beginning with the 2005-2007 academic year. Students should keep this catalog for referral throughout their academic career. Students who first enroll at NCC after August 2005 must fulfill the requirements stated in this catalog, or they may elect to substitute the requirements in any subsequent catalog published while they are enrolled in the College. A student must however, meet the requirements from one catalog only rather than choosing a portion from one catalog and the remainder from another.

Non-Discriminatory Policy
Nebraska Christian College admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, sex, age or physical handicap in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school-administered programs. All classrooms, cafeteria and gymnasium are handicap accessible.

Provisional Status
If, in the opinion of the Admissions Committee, an applicant has an academic and/or personal history that may raise questions as to his/her potential success at Nebraska Christian College, the committee may choose to admit the student on “provisional status” for a period of up to two semesters.
